Enjoy a Romantic 2-Night Valentine’s Day Stay at the Lansbury Hotel
Knowing what to gift your partner for Valentine’s Day can be a challenge. However, few presents compare with exploring the vibrancy of a world-renowned capital city.
Planning on taking a Valentine’s Day break in London? Find inspiration for a romantic 2-night stay at the Lansbury Heritage Hotel this February, with our couples-themed itinerary.
Day One
Morning: Visit an Exotic Rooftop Venue
Making your way to the Lansbury Heritage Hotel, you may find yourself connecting at Canary Wharf Crossrail Station. However, many of our guests are unaware of the onsite Crossrail Place Roof Garden.
Elevated above Canary Wharf, these lush tropical gardens feature plants collected from East and West. This echoes the historic trade routes that launched from the area’s now redeveloped docks. Enjoy a romantic stroll around this hidden gem to rejuvenate you both after your travels.
Afternoon: Enjoy Fortnum & Mason
After exploring your exquisite room or suite on arrival, you will undoubtedly be ready to find somewhere special for lunch. Catch the Tube to Green Park underground station and dine at Fortnum & Mason’s stunning 45 Jermyn St restaurant. Its seasonal menu is matched by its outstanding service.
Following your meal, you can wrap up warm and explore the gem of St James’ Square. Please note that this trustee-managed garden, set among Georgian architecture, can be enjoyed between 7.30am and 4pm (Monday to Friday).
Evening: Watch a West End Show
Theatre fans are spoilt for choice when it comes to love stories.
Popular West End shows for couples include:
- The Moulin Rouge Musical – Piccadilly theatre
- Pretty Woman the Musical – Savoy Theatre
- Phantom of the Opera – Her Majesty’s Theatre.
Celebrate your first night in London with your sweetheart by treating them to surprise drinks during the interval (where offered). Afterwards, you can dine in one of the area’s exceptional restaurants, which are sure to seduce your tastebuds.
Day Two
Morning: See the Sites of London
With so much to see in this captivating city, we strongly recommend that you create an itinerary before your arrival.
From the grandeur of the Royal Palaces and Parliament to historic gardens, museums and galleries, London offers something for all of our guests. Find your inspiration in our Banish the Winter Blues with a Visit to Canary Wharf guide or visit TripAdvisor to discover your London.
