London during summer time is THE place to be for vibrant festivals, live music and top-class sport. Here are just a few dates for your diary for summer 2023.

La Piñata – 9-10 Jun

Celebrate the tastes of Mexico on 9th-10th June, when La Piñata takes over Tobacco Dock, featuring the tastiest tequila and mezcal on the market – with free samples! You can also expect guides, talks and panel discussions – and of course, piñatas. It’s going to be a lot of fun.

Taste Of London – 14-18 Jun

Enjoy the best of London dining all in one place during the Taste of London Festival in Regent’s Park. Throughout the event, various restaurants from around the capital will set up pop-up stalls showcasing their favourite dishes for you to sample. A must-visit for keen foodies.

Trooping The Colour – 17 Jun

Trooping The Colour is the annual celebration of the monarch’s official birthday, and King Charles III is due to be in attendance. Look out for hundreds of officers, horses and entertainment during the Horse Guards Parade.

West End LIVE – 17-18 Jun

Theatre lover? Sing your heart out to some of the West End’s favourite musical numbers by the stars themselves at West End LIVE, a free event held annually in Trafalgar Square.

BST Hyde Park – 24 Jun-9 Jul

It wouldn’t be summer in London without the return of BST Hyde Park, the ultimate music festival. Join one of the free-to-enter mid-week activities, or grab your tickets to see a number of fantastic headliners in action over the weekend, this year including P!nk, Guns N’ Roses and Bruce Springsteen!

Pride – 1 Jul

Pride Month culminates on July 1st with an explosion of colour during the epic London Pride Parade. Also on the agenda are a number of events across the city celebrating our LGBTQ+ community.

Greenwich Summer Sounds – 4-8 Jul

Celebrate the sounds of summer at the Old Royal Naval College, with performances from Nile Rogers and CHIC, Tom Jones, Black Eyed Peas and Kaiser Chiefs! Be sure to check out the excellent street food, brewers and cocktails while you’re there.

Wimbledon 3-16 Jul

Indulge in strawberries and cream as you root for your favourites while they aim for an ace in Tennis’s favourite Grand Slam tournament. This year’s Wimbledon Lawn Tennis Championship takes place from 3rd-16th July, and promises more unforgettable matches.

Greenwich+Docklands International Festival – Aug TBC

Art, dance, theatre and music all come together in perfect harmony during this free event that promotes cultural vibrancy across the whole neighbourhood.

Notting Hill Carnival – 27-28 Aug

Seek out your best sparkles and prepare to get your groove on at London’s biggest street party, the Notting Hill Carnival.
